Jesus was not a part of this world

Daily "Words of Wisdom" from Apply

“They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world” (John 17:16).

Jesus was not part of this world and said in his famous John 17 prayer that his followers would also not be a part of this world.

When they tried to make Jesus a political leader, a king from the line of David, Jesus left them.  His kingdom is not of this world. Jesus was not political. (John 6:15) Therefore Jesus, knowing they were about to come and seize him to make him king, withdrew again into the mountain all alone.

The men in leadership positions in worldly organizations are ambitious and care nothing (they are fakers) for the will of Yahweh. Christian chaplains and many catholic priests forget their “calling” and that their purpose is to love and serve GOD ALMIGHTY, not get promoted and make money. Political leaders are inundated with sex scandals and lies and controversies. Look at how incompetent our military senior leaders are. Look at how evil and selfish CEOs are who ruin companies or banks, costing tax payers billions of dollars, crashing economies as a result. If you want to be a friend of the world then you are not a friend of God.

Only a few times in all of bible history did YHWH raise up a “believing insider” from a worldly government. Joseph became a leader in Egypt to help the Israelites find food and safety. Moses was trained by Pharaoh but eventually help the Israelites escape. Based off of Jesus’ example to flee from those who want him to be political, we can see that for 99.9999999% of all men (which means the exception is not you) any one serving God Almighty should be apolitical.
