The Kingdom of God has Not Yet Arrived

Daily "Words of Wisdom" from Apply

Jesus answered: “My kingdom is no part of this world. If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be delivered up to the Jews. But, as it is, my kingdom is not from this source” (John 18:36).

The Kingdom of God (KOG) has not yet begun since it is not a part of the current world system.

Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 24 many “signs” or indicators of the imminence of His presence and the beginning of the KOG. We should pay attention to these indicators. (Matthew 24:32-33) Now learn from the fig tree as an illustration this point: Just as soon as its young branch grows tender and it puts forth leaves, YOU know that summer is near.  Likewise, also YOU, when YOU see all these things, know that he is near at the doors.

Yet no one knows the day or hour of when the Kingdom of Yahweh will come. (Matthew 24: 36-39) Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.  For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be.  For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.
